Strengths:very good turning radius, able to use in doors into bathroom anywhere I need to go .and our house is not large at all.Transports well with the use of a liftI was able to load and unload with the use of one hand and leg.
Weaknesses:the key position is dumb.My wife broke the key off fist time she loaded it.I just left it that way and used another broken key to run it.
Comments:Being a tricycle it is tippy but very good indoors

Strengths:runs sometimes
Weaknesses:a piece of junk; mechanical problem every 3 months; very poor company service (3-weeks minimum for any repair); very difficult to work on and troubleshoot; seat-lift button position on the chair so you have to electrically disconnect it every time you remove seat ...and connection breaks often
Comments:pacesaver used to be good ... gone downhill with cheap parts, poor engineering, expensive replacement parts and timeconsuming repairs due to lack of knowledgeable, available service reps and lack of in-stock spare parts

Rich from Newark, Ohio USA submitted this review on March 18th 2004 at 08:58 PM. Rich is an end user who has one to six months of experience with the product.
Strengths:Very stable and maneuverable. The shorter wheelbase allows the scooter to get in and out of tight places. The controls allow the user to easily control the speed if used carefully. It is very smooth and quiet
Weaknesses:The speed control can be difficult to manipulate sometimes and if set too high can cause unintentional crashes into obstacles. The motor bonnet feels cheap and cheezy as it has no function. I ordered oversized wheels in the hopes of raising the ground clearance for outdoor use. What I got was wider wheels but the same height. Not a bad thing, but not what I expected.
Comments:I tested several mobility scooters before settling on this one. Some were much faster, but none had the overall feeling of quality that the pacesaver has. It is quiet and reliable. I can load it into my van by hand without using a ramp.
