Strengths:small size perfect for house or outside.scooter is very tough.
Weaknesses:none
Comments:I have fertilized my yard with this sonic scooter.I did a complete brake job on my hot rod with this sonic scooter.I have a lift on my truck so I haven't had to take this scooter apart but if I decide to put it in my hot rod trunk, it would be quite easy.My life would have been miserable without this sonic for the past three months since I lost my leg.(new leg today)

Andrew from Fort Worth, Texas, USA submitted this review on March 24th 2006 at 04:25 PM. Andrew is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:I have been riding this scooter for over three years now. I am not a casual user. I drive my scooter everyday at my job and out and about on the weekends. It is my first scooter and has been a good one. It is very agile and able to fit through very tight spaces, I can even turn it around in my companies elevator. It is small enough to fit in the truck of my mid-sized car.
Weaknesses:Perhaps I drive it more than it should be driven. I have had to replace the transaxle once and have the brakes checked at least five times due to squeeky noises and battery drag. I have worn out the bearings in the tiller arm twice now. It is a little small for me but I was limited to the Somic by the size of my car trunk.
Comments:I use a Bruno Lift in my trunk to put the Somic away. It works very well. I have taken my scooter outdoors though dirt, grass and even a little mud. It has kept me safe always. I would recommend the Sonic to anyone wanting a small, portable, agile scooter. Though it is not big enough for anyone over 5' 8" tall I don't think.
