Strengths:Solid transaxle & 4 pole motor unit. reliable & easily servicable once you have removed all the cowlings bolts & screws!!
Chassis of OK strength. Wouldn't say much for rest of the unit!!!
Weaknesses:Shocking wiring & inferior connectors that become brittle & snap when attempt is made to undo/part them especially after a few years of use. Use a charger of more than 4/5 amps output can make the wiring fairly warm. Wiring/light bulbs/holders held to cowling/chassis etc with HOT WAX! Seat Swivel lever return spring has tendancy to 'unwind' & seat becomes unlockable. ie; user swings as they drive.
NO BACK-UP FROM MAKER! NOT THE SCOOTER FOR A HEAVY USER!
Comments:Sent various e-mails to parent company but NO REPLY.
Importers here in the shaky Isle's have had the same result!
As a medium cost average size 4 wheeler it "look's" good on the outside for a short time until the wiring craps out [there is NO diagramme to work to] & CURTIS controller looks like its a copy as the connectors are as soft as! [easily bent/broken]Clients having had endless problems with these scooters from this manufacturer mainly wiring /electronics. We have/are replacing controllers with P&G units from aimac.co.nz & having no more troubles. --YET!-
