Strengths:very light, small corners are no problem, rolls so easy, not much effort to push,
Weaknesses:no one worth to talk of
Comments:Found the wheelchair on ebay and happily it had the exact size I needet. My old kueschall-chair broke after ten years and the new from the government was a nightmare and too heavy to push on the street. So I was happy to get it for only 850 €. and coud live active again. The more I got used to it, the more i liked it. A big increase in livequality. i am using wheelchairs since 25 Years and I know that there is no wheelchair that is perfect from the beginning. The user also has to get used to it. After one year it got damaged by aiportworkers in Chennai (Madras, India). Now I have a brandnew Kueschall KSL (Kueschall Super Light)with less than 7 kg. Tht one is dangerous good but only for experienced users and must be measured exectly to the users needs before ordering. Afterwords it is nearly impossible to make any changes or it will be very costly. If you want to buy the KSL you have to get a professionell who knows how to correctly do all the measuring! My kueschall now has nearly exact the same measurings than the Fusion because the Fusion was so perfect for me.

Strengths:absolutely none.
Weaknesses:Küschall claims that this chair was designed by a disabled designer. He probably never sat in a wheelchair, because the FUSION is absolutely impractical to use. The design uses sections of aluminium extrusions, that have sharp corners and the shape of the front wheel support will collide with everything.
The carbon fiber 90 degree elbows will make noises after a short time of use, and there is no method recommended by Küschall to monitor possible damage of these parts, where damage can not be seen, and loss of strength can occure without warning and fatal consequences.
Comments:Never buy one !

Patrick from Ohio submitted this review on August 6th 2007 at 06:56 AM. Patrick is an end user who has six months to a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Perfect wheelchair. I started using this wheelchair when I entered Junior High School and it's worked really great. I grew out of my pediatric chair which I had for 6 years and was very comfortable in it but this one is even better. It's easy rolling around in it and so comfortble sitting in it.
Weaknesses:Only one I can think of is when I got the seating system it wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was solved almost immediately.
Comments:I would recommend this wheelchair to everybody. I'm now almost totally independant and it's mostly thanks to this wheelchair. Using the toilet is now much easier than with my previous chair and I don't require almost any assistance now.
