Strengths:One of the best riding scooters I have drive and most comfortable seats to sit on. Very smooth ride even on bumpy grounds. The motor seems to be strong enough even on uneven ground uphill.
Weaknesses:Does not travel as fast as they claim. Even though the speedometer reads 11.5 mph with my weight of 250 lbs., it actually only travels 9 mph.Even with the upgraded trans axle.So save your money and don't upgrade because you won't get the speed of 12.4 mph. There is also an annoying sound coming from the trans axle.
Comments:The advertising for this scooter is very misleading concerning the speed. They are trying to say that this scooter will get you up to 12.4 mph with the upgraded trans axle with persons weight of 209 lbs. but I personally don't think will. I think the speedometer is giving the wrong speed information on the display.to make you think it is going fast. The best I got is 12 mph, according to the speedometer, going down a steep hill. I know by the feel of the speed that it is not traveling that fast. I have driven and owned a few scooters to know the difference. I know the feel of a faster scooter. I have also done timing tests to prove my feelings for the speed. My old Pride Hurricane scooter is 5 min. faster than this EV Rider Vita scooter when traveling to work. And it can only do 9.5 mph.

Joshua from Sausalito, CA, USA submitted this review on June 2nd 2006 at 03:56 PM. Joshua is an end user who has one to six months of experience with the product.
Strengths:The range on this thing is incredible! I was able to ride over the Golden Gate Bridge. . . without any problems! I was able to handle the hills on the bike paths around the Marin headlands with no problems either.

I really like the seat too. . . it's actually a lot more comfortable than my car!
Weaknesses:None. . . I'm actually getting one for my wife too.
Comments:I have absolutely no regrets. If anything, I end up driving my car less and using my scooter more to save on gas. I'm saving so much money, by driving my scooter to the grocery store! I love it!
