michigan from sterling hts, michigan submitted this review on June 30th 2014 at 11:41 PM. michigan is an end user who has over five years of experience with the product.
Strengths:It runs, easy to use on FLAT surfaces, never broke down.
Weaknesses:Very dangerous design, when going to use a ramp, or any situation that could cause the front swivel wheels to turn sideways-jamming- and causing you to get trapped and stuck, or the chair tipping forward on you. When going up a ramp, front tires turn sidesways and jam, causing you and the chair to both tip forward. If it wasn't for some good S-Ameritains, I would have had serious injuries had the chair fallen on top of me.
Comments:The chairs design is very poor and dangerous, and is backwards of a Jazzy powerchair. There's a reason why Jazzy has the tip wheels/ stationary wheels in front- to control the forward tipping. And having the stationary wheels infront makes for a smooth ramp transition. Swivel wheels should be in back like carts- to follow and not control. i can see why they discontinued this chair.

Billie from Columbus, Ohio USA submitted this review on June 13th 2012 at 01:08 AM. Billie is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:1. First it easy reclines to about 50-60%.
2. Light weight 1/3 to 1/5 of other reclining power chair.
3. Easy break down each peice weighs under 40lbs.
4. Rear wheel drive other than in small home rear wheel is better.
5. Fold down seat.
6. Vr2 Controller.
7. Fits in most card trunks ford focus, Kia spectra. Back of Kia sport age with second seat up.
8. 15 to 20 miles out batteries.
9. 4.5 mph speed regular.
10. 1/3 to half price of other reclining wheel chairs.
Weaknesses:Weak Drive Customer service.

Cost 8,000.00 instead of 21,000.0 to 50,000.00 that other power chairs cost. Doctors and companies cannot charge medicare as much. Poor service support by drive.
Comments:Wheelchair Price 30% to 80% less than other chairs 700 to 1200% less about than local clinics. Reclining chairs other brands 2,900% minimum more than this chair I requested the lowest priced reclining power chair, manual or power reclined by, user I was told it would be 30000.00 I asked ten different people at clinic face to face and by phone and anonymously. My cost for this with insurance 2000.00 the others around 8000.00 or more.
