Pete from Tucson, AZ. U.S.A. submitted this review on September 10th 2005 at 03:18 PM. Pete is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Lightweight and durable. I have been using this wheelchair for ten years. I ride hard. I beat the dickens out of my chair during the course of daily living and it is still going strong. It still looks great and performs stronger, better and faster than most chairs. There are almost no adjustable parts, hence the chance of something breaking is very slim. I use the model with the 26" tri-spokes.
Weaknesses:May not be good for first timers (new users) because balance is very important. I'm a T-4 complete and it took some getting used to. Once you adjust your sense of balance, you will be very happy.
Comments:If you are able to use a lightweight wheelchair, this is it. I've had this chair all over the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Aruba, Spain, France, Great Briton, Germany, Bulgaria and the Ukraine. As you might guess, accessibility in many of these places is not what it is here in the states. This chair always got me through because it is narrow and light yet stable over uneven ground.

I think he went out of buisiness last year, 2004, though. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know.

John from Boston, MA, USA submitted this review on June 10th 2003 at 11:05 PM. John is a clinician who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:I have a client that uses a Hallmark as his everyday wheelchair. The chair is lighter than most chairs in it's class. It has needed no repairs and it pushes easily. The chairs good looks are also a plus. He claims that having a chair like this one "sets you apart from the crowd".
Weaknesses:None identified.
Comments:This is a custom built wheelchair. If you are considering one for a client be sure to contact the manufacturer for help with appropriate measurements and configuration. You may want to give some thought when suggesting this chair to a first time wheelchair user. Many first timers have little experience and may not know the best configuration for their needs. Being a custom wheelchair, configuration changes after the fact are difficult.

Gus from Belmont, MA USA submitted this review on February 2nd 2003 at 05:50 PM. Gus is an end user who has one to six months of experience with the product.
Strengths:Custom fit, 25 lbs. nicely equipped, stylish, easy to wheel, compact
Weaknesses:None yet (2 months)
Comments:This wheelchair is so terrific that I feel sorry for able bodied people who can't have one. It rolls smoothly, is custom fitted by Bob Hall (a wheelchair user himself), is light as a feather and feels like an extension of yourself. I got the Spinergy wheels and a Slimline cushion - very comfortable. I'll admit, this wheelchair has extra appeal because it looks so good!
