Strengths:Well made, durable, light weight, great traction, secure comfortable seat, good stability. Excellent mobilty in moderate terrain Best on the market.
Weaknesses:Very slow speed, extremely short range especially on steep hills. Very short battery life especially in cold weather. Long charge times.
Comments:Great machine for short trips in the field in moderate terrain. Heavy users can expect to replace batteries 18 to 24 months.

Rik from Duvall, WA USA submitted this review on January 27th 2017 at 09:56 PM. Rik is an end user who has less than a month of experience with the product.
Strengths:Excellent Traction, good balance, very good fit and finish, durability.
Weaknesses:Drove it in a mix of hilly, flat, frozen and muddy trails and fields, averaged about 2 mph and needed to recharge after 5 miles. Battery Manufacturer recommends discharging to no more than 60% of battery capacity so we used 40 Amp Hours before recharging, Also noticed that battery capacity was reduced my almost 35% because battery temperature was 30 Degrees.

That's consistent with manufacturer's claim of 5 MPH and 10 mile range on level ground, but speed and range in real world conditions are inadequate for anything accept short trips in moderate weather.
Comments:Great machine, I think I'll buy a used one and replace the batteries with 48 volt Lithium Iron Phosphate batts and brushless motors and new motor controller to double the speed and triple the range.

Alan from Midland, MI submitted this review on December 8th 2011 at 06:07 AM. Alan is an end user who has six months to a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Goes anywhere, I have taken this over logs, though mud and snow and it keeps going. Solid frame, batteries LAST a long time, the on board marine charger is great, no worries if (when!) I get it wet. Cleanup is easy with a hose. Before I got it I was afraid I might through a track, but nope that thing is on there. The recline function actually tilts forward which is more helpful than I would have thought,,,,,great idea guys! We don't have the carrier, but this will climb right into the back of either my truck, or into the side door of my full size van. No breakdowns of any kind so far.
Weaknesses:NONE, this IS the offroad chair you want.
Comments:I had an X4 before this chair, and while okay it lacked power, especially in the turns or if a front tire turns in a rut. It left me stranded several times. I'll stick with the ActionTrack chair. Their guys in the field are GREAT to deal with, no lies, no stories, no b.s.

Jason from Washington State submitted this review on August 31st 2009 at 08:34 PM. Jason is an end user who has one to six months of experience with the product.
Strengths:I always loved being on the beach, river, sand with my family. Now i can do it with no assistance. It moves over sand with ease up hills and down very steep terrain. goes over curbs. extremely easy to use, but takes a little while to learn to navigate hills and bumps. (like a cat). indestructible. my boys ride all over when i am not on it.

Can add holders for drinks, gun, umbrella etc. to frame.

I am a C7 quadriplegic.
Weaknesses:it is pretty wide, which also makes it more stable. can be a bouncy ride over ruts and rocks.
Comments:love getting out on the sand with my family. price is extremely reasonable compared to everything else out there.

Rick from Eden Prarie, MN, USA submitted this review on August 31st 2009 at 09:22 AM. Rick is a care giver who has less than a month of experience with the product.
Strengths:This chair was able to go through sand, water, huge truck tire ruts, through trees and wet grass, up and down hills due to the chairs ability to lean forward and back to change the weight distribution. My four year old daughter jumped on the chair and was driving it around without any assistance. Needless to say it is extremely easy to use. I drove this into the back of a minivan and still had room for my two kids and wife.
Weaknesses:
Comments:The worst thing you can do to someone is take away their ability to be independent. With this chair you can do things that may not have been possible without relying on someone else.
