Strengths:Solid construction, ample power.
Weaknesses:Maneuverability, long term comfort
Comments:This being my first power chair, I have no frame of reference, but I'll share my impressions. The chair is extraordinarily solid, and is quite powerful. Once mastered, the chair is quite maneuverable, in spite of it's size. There are, however, certain situations where the positioning of the front, castering wheels can cause a significant 'lurch', once you start to move again.

I did not upgrade my chair, and I got the base seat (as shown in the pic). I have to report that the chair becomes extremely uncomfortable after a few hours, with this seat. If you will be confined to the chair for extended periods, spend the money on a seat upgrade.
