Ken from Omaha, Ne, USA submitted this review on January 22nd 2009 at 04:30 PM. Ken is an end user who has over five years of experience with the product.
Strengths:Durability and dependability. I’ve been in a chair for over 30 years now and this is the only chair that I haven’t broken or bent the frame on within a couple years. As a matter of fact the only thing that’s broken so far is the off/on toggle switch. The good news there is that it uses a standard 20 amp toggle. I replaced it with a heavy duty sealed toggle from a local auto parts store for $6.00. on my earlier chairs I always had a problem breaking the back rest canes. I got the solid inserts in the back rest canes on my bounder and they’re as solid and strong as a rock.
Weaknesses:The automatic brakes. They make loud snap every time they go on and off. Also a weak dealer network. Some might think the styling abit old, but I prefer the coventional style.
Comments:if you need a heavy duty chair, then the bounder is the strongest, fastest chair on the market, period. If you don't go out of the house much you probably would be happier with something else. But if your outdoors everday this thing rocks.

Ralph from Tinley Park, Illinois, USA submitted this review on May 7th 2007 at 02:34 PM. Ralph is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Very durable, very fast!!
Weaknesses:I have an older chair, before the new suspension came out, it's rough to ride. There are WAY to few dealers. No one seems to want to sell them with the exception of the manufacturer.
Comments:Not very many dealers is the only thing I can complain about. I LOVE my chair and when I get a new one it will be a Bounder.

Michael from Asheville, NC USA. submitted this review on April 14th 2006 at 07:04 PM. Michael is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:It's fast, rugged, and dependable. The battery box holds 2 group 27 batteries which are the largest batteries to be on powerchairs. When broken in, they can last two days or more on a single charge.
Weaknesses:No suspension, and older technology. Also lacks manueverability. RWD is to blame for it.
Comments:Who cares if the technology is older? The chair flat out moves!!!
