Carrie from Winnipeg MB Canada submitted this review on September 23rd 2011 at 07:45 PM. Carrie is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Distributes weight nicely to make driving and sitting more tolerable with low back injury and piriformis issues.
Weaknesses:Membrane is rather thin, and has developed a leak.
Comments:Our climate changes from freezing cold in winter to super hot in summer, and I generally leave the cushion in the car for long periods of time. It comes with me into meeting places, etc., so constantly moving it. Not sure if the extreme temperatures or frequent movement are contributing to the weakness.

MItch from Elkader, Iowa USA submitted this review on August 16th 2010 at 09:47 PM. MItch is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Good support, no issues with skin, light weight.
Weaknesses:constantly getting pinhole leaks on a weekly basis, might not be bad if user is home a lot and can repair on their own. I work 10 hour days so I need reliability
Comments:Looking for a different style cusions to meet need, too bad about the leaks that is my only complaint, if it held air fo rmore the 2 days I would never change. My advice, find a stronger material to make them out of insted of thin rubber.

Mary from Arizona submitted this review on March 29th 2008 at 02:45 PM. Mary is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Light & durable
Weaknesses:glue used inside is not very good. Doesn't hold up in the HOT Arizona climate very well.
Comments:I like their seats but they are expensive. This is the only cushion I have ever used, tried the quaddro seat once and it was worse than this. The glued seams will eventually give out in Arizona every 2-3 years and I think ROHO will need to come up with a better glue for hot climates. They were good when I got my first one and went thru a cushion every couple of months until they found a glue that could hold up for a while. That one lasted seven years until it eventually broke down and I needed a new cusion. They must have went to a cheaper glue because now over the last 7 years, I have had 4 more. At this rate, I will have to test out other options because @ $300 to $400 every couple of years is out of my budget. ;o(

Bob from Alabama, USA submitted this review on August 8th 2007 at 09:11 PM. Bob is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Good distribution of weight and pressure, lightweight, easily cleaned, and adjustable.
Weaknesses:Occasional pinhole leaks
Comments:I've used Roho Low Profile cushions for over 15 years (C5-6 SCI 31+ yrs) and have found them to be infinitely better than foam or gel cushions. I haven't been easy on them and will get the inevitable pinhole leak from time to time, but I've found an easier way to patch than the kit provided by Roho. Just keep a tube of Goop on hand, locate the leak and apply a dab on the hole overnight. I've had about 4-5 of these cushions (insurance pays for a new one every 4 years), so I have a spare available if one springs a leak. Roho has great customer service and will repair a more serious leak or tear for free while the cushion is still under warranty (3 yrs I believe), while providing a loaner until the repaired cushion is returned.

Don from Phoenix, AZ submitted this review on March 20th 2007 at 01:06 PM. Don is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:comfortable and lightweight
Weaknesses:eventually it will leak.
Comments:Very comfortable and infinitely adjustable - just add or let out air. My first lasted 5 years and after trying a gel cushion, I'm going back to the Roho air cushion. Treat it gently and don't take cover off very often.

Eric from Brooklyn, NY. USA submitted this review on August 12th 2003 at 12:31 AM. Eric is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Very light. Easy to clean. It has worked well keeping me sore free.
Weaknesses:It has developed spontaneous holes a number of times. I can't figure out why this happens.
Comments:It has worked well for me. I am active and the light weight and the easy cleaning is a benefit for me. The "flat tires" every once in a while are very frustrating though not enough to make me give up on the cushion.
