Strengths:The frame has withstood the abuse I give my chairs. (other chairs last 8-12 months) The adjustability it awesome! Their metal sideguards are actually durable and do not bend.
Weaknesses:The back joint has had to be repaired 5 times in 3 years on the current chair. This is my 2nd Spazz. Seems to be the weak spot if you have much bucket
Comments:Colours is amazing to work with. When you cann you talk to a person and they do everything to make the chair work. No excuses are ever given. If you have a problem, they are there to fix it.

Mark from Murf, TN, USA submitted this review on September 24th 2010 at 04:36 AM. Mark is an end user who has over five years of experience with the product.
Strengths:Durable, strong frame.
Weaknesses:The footplate that came with mine, had the flat plate on it, would not stay level, constantly turned when I would lean down, I had to replace it with a welded one. Frame layout will not allow the brakes to slide back enough, depending on axle placement. Aligning the axle requires a jig when adjusting the wheel placement to keep from getting toe in/out, mine was delivered way out of adjustment.
Comments:If you like to adjust the chair to fit you and keep up with your active life, buy the alignment jig or get a different chair, even with it it takes patience to get it right. It is heavy, but face it, it's not an ultra-light. DO NOT buy twisted spoke wheels, they are junk! In 5 years, it's still pretty much the same, other than the welded footplate upgrade and axle plates, I wanted to change the angle of my seating. I rarely use my brakes, as they barely work, the frame will not allow me to move them back as they hit the bar that goes across under the seat.

Comments:This wheelchair has a great look. It is a bit heavy though, especially trying to haul it into a car. I've had it for over three years and have only had to make minor repairs such as tightening the brakes, footrest, or seat back. Overall, it is a very practical, durable chair. The seat back is weak though and provides little support.

Chrissy from Arnold MO 63010 submitted this review on July 28th 2004 at 10:54 AM. Chrissy is an end user who has less than a month of experience with the product.
Strengths:This chair looks awesome and is very adjustable. A lot of chairs get slightly bent frames over the years, and the adjustability of the caster and rear wheel husings are pretty much infinite, so if your chair frame ever gets funky you can compensate. Or, if you decide to change the front or rear seat hieght, you can compensate fo toe in/out by adjusting the plates that control your wheel angle. The wieght of the chair is balanced perfectly so I can grab it at almost any point and will not get thrown off, and the shape makes it very easy to fit into small spaces.
Weaknesses:Sling back is made of cheap thin material that will stretch quickly, scissor brakes may not work if your center of gravity is too far back because of the way the frame is shaped.
Comments:Colours also has a good service department. when I asked to try scissor brakes on my chair, they mailed them right out. If you are like me and enjoy taking your wheelchair apart the day you get it, remember that the parts of this chair are side specific. In other words, you can't take the right caster housing parts and put it on the left side. They look the same but they are not!

Ed from Phoenix, Arizona, USA submitted this review on July 18th 2003 at 08:31 AM. Ed is an end user who has six months to a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:I have had good luck with this chair so far. It has not needed any repairs, no rattling or loose parts. I am very pleased with the looks of the chair and appreciate the adjustable seat height and back.
Weaknesses:I would have like the chair to be somewhat lighter than it is. The Spazz is a better looking chair than my other chair but it is a little heavier.
Comments:All in all I have been very happy with the chair. There were no surprises. The chair was delivered exactly as ordered.
