Strengths:I bought this Powerchair second hand.
It was in like new condition it is nibble indoors turns in a full circle
Weaknesses:It is hard to take apart not portable like claimed.
the arm rests have to be pushed in and knob is hard to tighten to make sure the arm rests still at desired width.
Has a portable battery bar holding the batteries so not
usuable outdoors unless stable surface.

Colleen from Sarasota FL USA submitted this review on September 3rd 2004 at 09:18 PM. Colleen is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Chair can be customized with many options. I have a T-switch joystick that allows overhand operation. The sensitivity of the controls can be well fine-tuned. It maneuvers well in tight spaces. It does disassemble but with greater complexity and difficulty than advertised. The chair is very comfortable; I have the orthopedic seat, more like a standard wheelchair with swing-away foot rests. It looks great and is very sturdy for those with poor balance. The joy stick retracts to allow the chair to fit under desks.
Weaknesses:You have to be able to bend down almost to the floor to reach the on board charger cord. The mechanism to disengage the motor is impossible to reach (located under the seat in front) and, for someone with poor hand coordination, almost impossible to manipulate. The pins that hold the seat in place are extremely difficult to remove and put back in because the holes don't line up exactly. The back cushion is connected to the seat by a plastic clip which has broken.
Comments:I have an unsual perspective because I use the chair mostly for outside mobility, walking on crutches in the house. It has held a charge well and worked great for long days when I couldn't stay on my feet on excursions. The crutch holder could be better designed and held to the chair. It has now fallen off. I have been pleased but must advise the reader that this is my first power chair.
