Strengths:Durable and easy to get in/out of car. comfortable to sit in, light enough for getting up kerbs. Good on the dancefloor too.
I've had it for 5 years and there's been no problems with the frame - has survived 5-6 transatlantic flights.
Weaknesses:over a 5 year period, the bolts on the front castors have sheered several times - this appears to be the chairs weakest attribute. Bolts on clothes guard have broken too, but only in the fifth year. mechanism for folding back down is a little awkward to use.
Comments:Good medium light-weight chair. Has served me well for 5 years.

Brre from Oslo, Norway submitted this review on May 19th 2006 at 04:56 PM. Brre is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:By far the best "wheelie" chair on the market. With practice, you can roll up and down stairs on your rear wheels in this one, not to say anything about dancing -- with the acute angle front version (available upon request) with rollerblade front wheels, it spins on a dime -- 360's using two fingers. On one wheel if you have the balance for it. It's also superlight, and sturdy.
Weaknesses:Price -- good luck getting an insurance company to cover this.
Also, while the company offers a plethora of options, they do not market this well, and you might not even know what's available (like high camber bearings, different front wheel types or ultra-high pressure rear wheels).
Comments:The best action chair I've ever tried. The successor, K series, is in my opinion not as versatile. For the acute angle front version of this chair, it can take some getting used to having the front of your legs resting on a strap, instead of a normal footrest.

Michael from Austin, Texas submitted this review on May 12th 2004 at 01:34 AM. Michael is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Light, wide range of adjustments, great ride, easy to work on.
Weaknesses:Casters (5" soft ride) have a tendency to shimmy on fast descents.
Comments:This is my favorite chair. The ride is superb. It absorbs vibration and shock well without being too flexible. If I have to, I can spend hours more time in it than in other [high end] chairs I've owned. I recline the driver's seat and pull my chair in over my chest when I get into a car. Thanks to the frame design it's easy to get it into and out of my Toyota Corolla sedan. Putting it in the passenger seat or the back seat is equally easy. It's also a great chair to use when I'm flying somewhere, as it's easily stowed in the onboard closet of most planes. I'd own another one without thinking twice about it.
