Strengths:None
Weaknesses:foot rest so poory constructed. had to drill and put bolts in so legrests would remain level. With suspension a good forward lean and foot slipping off footrest which sort of just hang to middle will end you on your face on the floor. Happened twice to mee. Tires which are supposedly knobby are almost like slicks no traction in most conditions grass wet or dry. will not go in any trype of gravel surface, but it does dig thenicest holes to planr your posies in. Battery box cover will not stay in place with the flimsey velcro on it. I drilled and put sheet metal screw in it to hold it in place. will not climb a curb higher than two inches any thing higher and footrests dig into concrete. To go uo most curbs you have to turn up the power and get a good run. without a run it stalls at any speed right next to the curb. Oh the knobbies I took a Dremel tool and cut groves into the worthless knobbies to try to increase traction. It's a handimans fixer uppers dream
Comments:I'm stuct with it. Have to find some real tires. Suspension doesn't add much and as speed is just sale hype.

Vicki from Elkhart, IN 46517 USA submitted this review on February 11th 2005 at 02:02 PM. Vicki is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:It doesn't stick out in back and turns on a dime.
Weaknesses:Constanly tipping backwards or not being able to back up a ramp. The foot pedals are clumpsy also.
Comments:I have a model that tilts, reclines. and has power foot pedals so I can only speak of the problems with this particular model. My wheelchair cost over $20,000 and it's worthless. I have it sitting in my garage because I don't know what to do with it. I messed around with sunrise for 2yrs +. The wheelchair I got from them had several problem areas, but the tipping backwards was the worst. It either tipped backwards or wouldn't back up. The peddles broke easily too. It also was a very rough ride. For 2 years they tried to fix it. Constantly sending someone to my home, but it never got fixed right. Finaly, they told me to ship it back to them so they could work on it there. It was damaged upon delivery so they replaced it, but I still had the same problems. I just gave up. They just wore me down. Now I'm stuck having to keep my 7 yr. old chair running instead. Iwill NEVER deal with Sunrise again or recommend them to any one.

Joe from Glendale, CA USA submitted this review on August 11th 2004 at 12:19 PM. Joe is an end user who has less than a month of experience with the product.
Strengths:Fast, easy to manuver, lots of joystick settings so you can get it to run at the right speed. Arm rests slide back so no need to take them totally off for transfers. Leg rest buttons are easy to use.
Weaknesses:There are no shocks on this chair. Very bumpy ride. I had a P300 before this and I didn't realize how good those shocks were.
Comments:Very stylish. Fast and fun to ride. If you have issues with a bumpy ride don't get this chair! The folks at Quickie put together a real easy chair to use. I am really enjoying it. I've been using power chairs for nearly 20years and this is the best to date.

Bert from Albany, NY, USA submitted this review on June 8th 2004 at 05:05 PM. Bert is an end user who has over a year of experience with the product.
Strengths:Lots of speed even with my oversized (300 lbs) body in it. Turns are quick and sharp with no problem negotiating in tight places. No mechanical problems at all so far.
Weaknesses:Not the greatest wheels on wet or slippery surfaces. Have had some problems with traction in areas that should not have been a problem.
Comments:In all this wheelchair has served me very well. Hasn't left me stranded or out of juice. Gets me out of trouble almost as quickly as I can get into it. I use the chair for almost everything. Going to stores several miles away, friends houses, running downtown on errands. The reliability and extra speed really pays off on these long hauls.
