Strengths:I think I've had my amigo rt express jr. for 8 years.Although I'm 5feet 7inches this scooter really fits me. I feel much more comfortable, psychologically, than when I ride in a wheel chair. I feel inpowered. Recently I got in to an argument with a guy on the street. I was on Michigan Ave in Chicago at about 6pm. There was loud thunder over head, and the street was packed with pedestrians.
I had forgotten to bring 1$ for bus fare. My battery had just begun the beep that lets you know you have got about 1 mile before the power is gone. I didn't have the $1, but I did have my visa card. I'd have to pay a $25 cab fare. Within about ten minutes, miraculoulsy , an accessible cab pulled over. All at the same time a hotel patron with a beautiful silk scarf and a wonderfully subtle diamond pin tips the door man who steps to the curb to hail the cab, I'm at the curb ready to get in, We're both yelling when I realized the door man had a $1 bill in his hand. I told the door man I'd gladly leave and get on the bus if he would give me that $1 bill. The door man looked startled and handed me the dollar, and I rode out of there like a "bat out of hell."
The situation I was in could have caused me to demure, feel shy, and slink away;but I didn't have to. I can't say my assertiveness was totally the result of my Amigo RT, but I know it helped a lot.
Weaknesses:It is difficult to cook or do any kind of house work
Comments:My Amigo rt stopped working yesterday. I had ridden it over ice, grass, snow etc. I'm lost without it

Strengths:Small size, maneuverabilty, reliabilty, light weight and company customer service. I have had the product for six years and Amigo products for twelve years.
Weaknesses:None
Comments:I have had four Amigo scooters over twelve years. I also have a Front wheel drive Amigo I use inside my house. Both my RT Express and Front Wheel Drive have Power seat that is most help full for cooking, cleaning and washing.
