The agency serves as a consumer driven community action program to facilitate general awareness of disability related issues, community access, education, information sharing, assistive technology access, advocacy, and independent living that is culturally appropriate for American Indians. Assistive technology services include: Equipment demonstration, equipment lending, training and education, information and referral, advocacy, technical assistance, evaluations and assessments.

Dakotalink
DakotaLink is a statewide program of resources and supports that enable individuals in South Dakota greater access to assistive technology devices and services, to maintain independence, to explore funding options, and to become educated about assistive technology issues. DakotaLink has established four geographically located Demonstration Centers across the state for the purpose of allowing individuals with varying disabilities to try out different assistive devices.

East Tennessee Technlogy Access Center
ETTAC is a regional nonprofit agency that helps people with disabilities gain knowledge about and access to assistive technology devices.

ETTAC's assistive technology equipment is used for assessment and training, and some devices may also be available for loan.
